Farts
Louder farts come from an empty bowel - the bowel itself acts as a resonating chamber, much like a drum or the hollow body of an acoustic guitar.
Silent farts are silent because they sneak out of a full bowel; a bowel already packed with fecal materials. since they’ve been stewing in shit for a while before they pop out, they smell worse.
